Summer is a splendid time, but having girls camp right after school gets out, makes it even more splendid. This year we went to Aspen Lakes up in Heber. Technically this is my last year to go to girls camp, but if I tried hard enough and the leaders liked me enough, I could possibly go again next year. My first year going to girls camp we went to Aspen Lakes. I thought it was crazy that my first and last year at girls camp would be at the same location.
I was a bit worried going to girls camp this year, that I wouldn't really have a good time, and all that jazz. To my surprise it was one of the best years yet. I have never gotten so close to so many people at a girls camp before. There was practically no drama, and everyone befriended one another.
It was quite chilly while we were there. I had two long sleeve shirts on, my llama jacket, a huge hoodie, leggings, sweats, socks, gloves and a hat on at night. I was still a bit chilly, but I survived.
Because of my ever changing body temperature, I was known for wearing many strange and creative outfits.
Left: Rachel and I being gangsters Right: Outfit for the three mile hike
We also did many activities. Hiking, swimming, canoeing, zip lining.
All during camp I had an anchor theme. The name on my cup was anchor woman. I even made a t-shirt with an anchor on it.
I also met a cute boy, who looks like Justin Beiber. His name is Jared.
We also created a band with out whistles/glowsticks that we had. I'm sorry but I don't have a picture.
To wrap it up, girls camp was awesome.
