Many jewels in her crown

She's beauty and she's grace, she's Miss America's Outstanding Teen.

Meet Lacey Russ. She is the current title holder of MAOT. On Monday there was a little get together to meet her, Miss Utah, Christina Lowe, and Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen, Tiare Keeno.

It was a splendid event. Within 5 minutes of being there Lacey and I hit it off and talked for 15 minutes. I'd say that we have some common interests. For example; basketball, basketball and more basketball.

She is a very sweet girl and exactly the opposite of what everyone thinks beauty queens are. She has the cutest accent and is a very approachable. I think we could become very good friends.

Also at the event there was free cupcakes from Dippidee, and hand massages from Mandalyn Academy. Lacey and I had a great time trying to get the paper around the cupcake off. But we eventually figured it out. And then the hand massage. Remember when as a little kid, or even you still do this, you would dip your finger in hot wax? Well imagine your whole hand. It was prime. I felt like Barbie. My hands were stiff and not plastic but it felt the same to me. To say the least the night was very fun. And to end it all I had The Italian Place for dinner.
