Work those shops!

My eyes opened slowly around 7 o'clock. An hour before my alarm was supposed to go off. "Work shop" I said excitedly to myself. I forced myself back to sleep for fear I wouldn't be able to get though the day with the amount of sleep I had. 8 o'clock comes around and I woke up. "Workshop!" (deja vu?) I immediately started getting ready. Clothes. Check. Hair check. Contract papers that weren't completely filled out. Check. I was set.
I could feel those butterflies starting to flutter. Didnt know why, so I got more. "How much longer?" Finally I arrived with papers in one hand and sweat in the other. I was prepared. One foot after another I got inside the doors near my competition. I followed the same old drill. I found a marker and wrote my name on a sticky piece of paper, slapped it on my jeans and sat down. The awkwardness grew as I sat there by myself. It soon ended when Staci got to the front to welcome everyone. Phew! Someone I know.
After a few hours talking and laughing we got to the serious part. The private interview and resame. Thoughts quickly filled my mind of how I could write my resame and what to put in it. While writing my thoughts I hear "toms". I grew excited inside. "Oh I know what those are" I said quietly. Then pointed to my shoes. I felt accomplished. I knew something.
After our talking was over I felt excited and nervous. "Can I really do this?" Yes. Yes I can
