Boston part 1

I finally got the pictures. It will be really long but hang tight. Also I might not remember everything so sorry ahead of time. Also this will not be in order.

One of our first days there when everyone was not there we went kayaking. It was fun. While we were kayaking my aunt took us to a rope swing. We did that for most of the time.

A few other things we did while others were not there is we went to Salem. That is where they had many witch trails and scary things like that. It was really scary there. It was right by the ocean so it was really foggy. I guess that added to the scene.

We also went to the House of Seven Gables. I was not very excited about it because I had no clue what it was. I guess a man wrote a book about living there and what it was like. It was very pretty. Unfortunately we could not go explore around because I think it cost about 10-20 dollars to get in. But we did manage to get a picture by the sign.

By the House of Seven Gables there was a candy shop. I begged to go and we did. It turns out that that store is the oldest candy shop ever.

Once most of the people got to Boston we went on an amazing bike tour. It was about 15 miles. I was freaked out because they said we would be going in the streets and through lights. But actually it was so much fun I would do it again in a heart beat. Our tour guides were also very friendly. That was a huge bonus.

This is during one of the stops. The shirt I am wearing is one I bought from the people doing the bike tour for us. I just remembered that our bikes had bells. It was so much fun to ring them so people would get out of the way.

Another stop. The old south meeting house. And our amazing tour guides.

And one of everybody's favorite stops. FENWAY PARK. We were very lucky because one of our tour guides works there as his second job. He told us some very cool information.

We had to rent cars to go places further than where the subway would take us. So meet our cars.
Little Red. And Big White.

One place we took these cars was Plymouth Plantation.
It was raining the whole time we were there. But we bought ponchos and toughed it out.

Also at Plymouth they had a replica of the Mayflower. It was still raining. But I guess thats what it always like there.

As we were leaving our "tour guide" teacher took us over to see the Plymouth rock. It was under construction so we could not see the front. It is under the building.

One day we did kind of what ever we wanted to do. We ended going to the mall, and there is a building called the Prudential Tower where you can go to the 51th floor get a cellphone thing and look out the windows and learn more about the city. Here is a picture from one of the windows.

We went to Concord and Lexington. We had to hurry so I don't have really any pictures. This is where the "first shot heard around the world" started the Revolutionary war. This picture is taken at the bridge there where a lot of the fighting happened.

We went on a walk around a little lake. In the water was this. I thought it was weird. There was a fish right by it to.

On our walk we found this marking of a house where a man lived. In the middle of the "woods".

The last thing I am going to add to this post is we went to a cemetery and found William Bradford's grave. That was a big thing.

While we were there, there was some rain clouds rolling in. It was cool to see them.

It was raining a bit later so I decided to go back to the car. About ten minutes one of the parents says we were going to the hospital. It turned out that our teacher fell and broke her arm. Luckily a lady was driving by and knew where the one of the best and closest hospital was. She was kind enough to show us the way. This just shows the Lord works in our lives.

Stay tuned more to come. And PA pictures to come.
